New wing mirrors The mirrors were more for show, couldn't see a thing through them.	Better lighting Got fed up with being dazzled by high beams, so I thought I'd get my own back. Looked cool when they were all on, drained the battery though.
Better stability Spacers gave me a 3" wider rear axle, and yes I actually felt safer going around corners. The arches were in danger from oncoming traffic of a night though.	Cosier interior Was fed up with the cold right thigh, the fur certainly did the trick. Could'nt wait to get the side screens off in the summer though.

Not shown here; The rear boot had a mural, a range of mountains under the glistening moonlight, looked very good especially at night. Two electric ariels placed in the shelf compartment, again looked good when they were raised. Pity I wasn't much of a mechanic, too many problems with oil leaks, and poor performance plus my kids came along and out went the Bug. But I'd love to have one today! Cheers Rory
