Since wood is a living material you should always leave space – an expansion gap – of 1.5mm per metre width of floor or a minimum of 8 to 10mm between the floor and thresholds, pipes, steps, fireplaces, stone floors etc. The expansion gap is hidden by using skirtings, mouldings or pipe collars.

Value Combistar profiles
are an innovative new product in the Value range. The transition profiles are available with a genuine wood veneer surface and are fitted very easily. The mounting rail is screwed down and the profile is fixed onto it. This leaves room for great flexibility and adjustment in order to make a perfect fit between surface and profile.

Clipstar veneer mouldings
are available in a great number of wood species. The clip system is extremely user-friendly: the mouldings are fitted easily by being mounted on the clips that are attached to the wall separately.
